Authors

Zhu Yong

Mr. Zhu Yong is a professor of the School of Chinese of Beijing Foreign Languages University. He has been teaching graduate courses such as Second Language Learning Research, Teaching Reading & Research, and courses for overseas students like Comprehensive Chinese, Oral Chinese and Reading, etc. Zhu Yong taught at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies from 2005 to 2007. From 2010 to present, Zhu Yong has been the Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute of Rome University in Italy. His research interests are CSL vocabulary, teaching reading, and development of teaching materials. He has published over 20 articles in journals like Chinese Teaching in the World, Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching and Linguistics Studies. He is also the editor-in-chief of over ten textbooks including Tiantian Zhongwen Readers.
